Palm Beach, Florida is known for its majestic palm trees, white sandy beaches, exquisite mansions, and upscale shopping. This South Florida island is synonymous with luxury. And to double down on the luxury, we decided to stay at the Four Seasons Palm Beach.
This famous destination has been on my list of places to visit for quite some time. And since we were already planning to be in Orlando, I decided to squeeze in a little time at this iconic spot. Earlier in the year we stayed at the Four Seasons Seattle and knew we wanted to try out another Four Seasons property, and this trip was the perfect opportunity.
Four Seasons Palm Beach
The Four Seasons Palm Beach is a small property with a casual, beachy vibe. There are large plants, pastel colors, wicker furniture, and botanical designs everywhere you look. The hotel is relaxed luxury at its best. The moment you enter the lobby you have been transported to a tropical paradise.
With only 207 guest rooms all the amenities, dining, and beach is easy to access. We enjoyed having everything close by. Our room was bright, and clean with a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. It was the best place to enjoy our morning coffee and end of day glass of wine.
It’s the little things at hotels that make such a difference. The kid-sized bathrobe and slippers, fresh fruit bowls, and delicious key lime pie cake pops that greet you in the lobby are just some of the little touches that make this hotel shine.
Poolside Service & Relaxation
There are two pools onsite. One is for adults and the other is family friendly. The rectangular family pool isn’t large, but we didn’t feel that it was ever too crowded. There were stairs along one side perfect for little ones, and cannon balls were often happening on the deep ends.
The pool staff will help you to select your spot, set up an umbrella, and even create pillows out of towels. Additionally, they give you a Four Seasons button to request poolside service. Talk about total luxury!
Each day at the pool we were greeted with complimentary treats. The first day was a lemonade stand where you could select your flavor, and the next day was fresh popcorn with various toppings. Plus, there is always fresh water available for guests to grab.
Sandy Toes & Sandcastles
The beach area is quiet with plenty of cushioned loungers, umbrellas, and side tables to ensure you have a fabulous beach day. And there is staff on hand to assist with anything you need. Each morning they groomed the sand and set up a bamboo walkway to the chairs. A little bonus for families was the large sandcastle area complete with all the necessary supplies, corn hole, Jenga, and other beach games.
Side Note: There were large amounts of seaweed in the water and on the beach, which I learned was common this time of year (July). Because of that, we didn’t spend too much time in the water, but it didn’t impact our fun!
Drinks & Dining
Chickpea taco, tropical mojito, and mango sorbet were some of our food highlights! And the bonus, at least for me, was they were all vegan! The food here is incredible! Whether you dine with views of the beach, poolside, or from your room’s balcony, you will be guaranteed top-notch service and an upscale experience. There are two main restaurants onsite and we treated ourselves at both of them.
For the final night of our 2-night stay we dined on the patio at Florie’s, where Carter had “the best pizza of his life” and had to ensure the chef was informed. Then the cutest thing happened, the chef came out and invited Carter to come and view the kitchen — which made his night! We also learned that on certain days of the week kids are invited to come and make their own pizzas — which we will do for sure next time.
Overall, this hotel is the perfect spot for a quiet and relaxing Florida vacation. If you want to have quick access to amenities with unmatched service, then this is your place! And for information on our stay at the Four Seasons Seattle, click here.
